The one-step method and two-step

The one-step method and two-step method refer to two different manufacturing processes for plastic tubes.

1.One-step method:
The one-step method, also known as the extrusion method, is a continuous forming process. In this method, plastic pellets or rods are fed into an extruder, where they are heated and pressurized to melt the plastic into a molten material. The molten material is then extruded through a die under extrusion pressure to form the shape of the hose. The one-step method is typically used for manufacturing plastic tubes with larger diameters and thicker walls.

2.Two-step method:
The two-step method, also known as extrusion blow molding, is a two-stage forming process. In this method, the plastic pellets or rods are first heated and melted in an injection molding machine. The molten plastic is injected into a mold cavity to form a hollow tube-shaped preform. This preform, known as a "pre-bottle," is then transferred to a blow molding mold, where it is inflated using air pressure to expand and take the shape of the hose. The two-step method is typically used for manufacturing plastic hoses with smaller diameters and thinner walls, such as cosmetic packaging tubes.
These two methods are common techniques for manufacturing plastic tubes. The choice between the methods depends on the desired specifications, size, and application requirements of the tubes.
